The story 'Raincoat' was published (1995). It was later compiled into the author's latest story book 'Jal Sapna Swapner Jal (1998). The guerrilla attack of the freedom fighters started in Dhaka at that time. One of the incidents in this story is where an electric transformer was destroyed as a result of a guerrilla attack in front of Dhaka College. Trying to find the freedom fighters by torturing them (Nurul Huda is the narrator of this story. The events of the story are narrated in his statement. The raincoat that Nurul Huda had to wear to go to college in the rain was his Brother-in-law freedom fighter dies. The symbolic significance of this raincoat in the story is remarkable. Wearing the raincoat of the freedom fighter brother-in-law, the warmth, courage and patriotism of Nurul Huda is transmitted in this story.
