Earlier today at dawn, me and my team gathered together to offer a mañanita to our birthday celebrant who is our Parish Youth Ministry leader. We gave him flowers and some candle to blow while serenading him. After serenading the celebrant, we offer prayers for him and for his family. We start it by reading the Gaspel, then sharing our insight about it. After the prayer we asked the celebrant's family to give some words for their son. Then we the youth also greeted him individually. The short program was ended with a prayer and singing of some birthday songs. Just so happy seeing our leader happy. The feeling is just so overwhelming. Mañanita has become part of our extensive activity in the ministry. Specially in our Parish Youth Formation Team where our youth leader is also a member.
