My Auntie and Uncle : A true angel
Hi friends, I've been so busy all day. Did you watch the news of typhoon agathon? Pity the owners of the flooded house. I hope those who fled are in good condition. And hopefully the government will help them.
Uncle is American, and auntie is a pure filipino. They met in Manila when uncle was assigned here in the Philippines, he was a navy and he was assigned to the office. And they got married, actually wasn't uncle's first wife. But uncle was divorced a long time ago when she and uncle met. But they did not have children.
Since we were young, they have been helping my father and their other brother financially. Every month they always send money to our parents. They also provide financial support so that my siblings and I can study. Whenever we got sick, my tatay would just call them and they would send money right away. They are not stingy as long as we buy only foods and necessities. Because they don't want the money to be used badly. Every year they also always send a package. The box is always full, the contents are large coffee, creamer, sugar, chocolates, foods, imported canned goods, and much more.
Ever since they helped my parents it seems like our lives have been good.
I also did not forget when my mother was diagnosed with an acute appendix and needed immediate surgery. Tatay called auntie because many won't be operated on if she doesn't pay at the hospital bill, just one call to my auntie and uncle they immediately sent money. Second my sister, because she is running out of blood and needs a blood transfusion immediately. And auntie also immediately sent money. I was the third to get sick, I was in the third year of high school then, I had a fever for three days, no matter what medicine I took I didn't get better. I had a bad headache and was delirious with a high fever. On the third day of my fever I could no longer walk, I was also very weak because I could not eat properly. So nanay and tatay decided to take me to the hospital and that I was diagnosed with Dengue and Typhoid fever. And doctors need to keep an eye on my platelets. I was also admitted to the hospital for two weeks and without my auntie and uncle I might be dead.
So I owe my life to auntie and uncle, even though we have our own family they still never forget to give us even if we don't ask. Even if they are far away from us because they are in texas now, they are still always called. So I always greet them too. They are a bit old we want them to come back here to the Philippines. Because in texas no one helps them when they both get sick. We worry everytime there is a bad snow storm there because they might not be able to withstand the stream cold.
Hopefully the pandemic is over so they can go home. Because we miss them and we have to take care of them. They are our second parents and we love them very much. Even though they are rich and we are poor, they never made us feel that. Even if we sin, they are still there ready to accept us again. Such a relative is rare. And we are lucky that they are our auntie and uncle. Our real life angel.

Part II Our dog bite me : Struggle
I'll just continue my story, this is the Part I Our dog bite me Part 1 if you haven't read it yet.
My parents called because they found out that I could not be vaccinated because it was saturday and those assigned to the animal bite center were not working. I told them that I would get vaccinated only on monday, but they didn't agree, even my father was angry. He said that my husband choose the work over me, and they wanted me to go home immediately because they were the only ones who would come with me to find a private clinic. I'm already crying because of what they're saying. If something bad happens to me, they won't come to me because I didn't listen to them.
So I called my husband if he could come with me, but he said he could not leave his work. I cried a lot because he wouldn't go with me, he wanted us to go on sunday. It is even more obscure that there is still a clinic to open. So I said I'll just go home, even if I'm alone. It'a past 4pm when I can leave the house because my husband didn't allow me to travel alone. He told her sister to go with me. My children also cried and cried because they wanted to come along. But I didn't take them with me first because I would had a hard time and my wound was still bleeding. So I left them with their grand mother while my husband was still at work.
It was 8:00pm when we got home. I'm also not comfortable because there is no clinic open because it's already night. But my sister and brother-in-law still accompanied me to go to the nearby private hospital so they might have the anti rabies vaccine. But when we got there seemed to be nothing. So we just went home again.
Parental care is also different when I feel sick. They cleaned my wound, fed me and they cared so much for me. So I'm lucky because I still have a parent. While I was sleeping, they sometimes checked me to see if I was feeling something.
The next day we went to the nearby RHU, speculating that they might have a vaccine, but because it was sunday they could not give the vaccine because the doctor was not there. So they suggested that we go to the private clinic.
So my sister decided that we should look for a private clinic because all public hospitals have closed the animal bite center clinic. When we arrived at the Catarman proper, we went to the Catarman animal bite center but the clinic was also closed. Fortunately, there was a post outside that could be on call and their schedule and cellphone number were posted there. So we immediately called the owner of the clinic.

We have already met the doctor, she daid that the bite was serious and category 3. She also explained everything before I was vaccinated with anti rabies and anti tetanus. The medicine that was injected into me was very painful but I endured it.
Because its private, I paid 2,250 pesos ($45) for anti rabies and anti tetanus. I did not get Erig vaccine (immunoglobulin) because it was expensive (3,750). So the doctor suggested that I get the ERIG vaccine at a public hospital because my body needs it and I need to be vaccinated immediately on Monday. Because even though I already have an injection of anti rabies, the virus still spreads faster than the anti rabies vaccine. Immunoglobulin is injected directly into the wound, so that even if the virus spreads, my body is protected because it is effective in the body for 24 hours, faster than anti rabies vaccine and one month before it loses it's effect in the body.
I also indured for 14 days that the dish was only vegetables because many are forbidden. And I endured all the injections. Because I just want to get better right away. And up to this day the dog bites still hurt, which is still trauma to me.

It rains all day here in our area, I thought it was summer but why does it always rain.
But even though it was raining, I still did my laundry, because there was already a lot of dirty clothes. On monday I was busy delivering and picking up my two children from school.
Let me just tell this is story I experience in life, that I never thought would happen to me.
Whatever we take care of ourselves. There is still danger that will happen to us no matter where we are. Even if we are just in our house.
**January 28, 2022 friday**
Last friday of January I woke up early because I was going to do laundry. I just borrowed a washing machine from my mother-in-law so that I wouldn't have trouble doing laundry because we had a lot of dirty clothes. Our dog in the kitchen also tied up. Actually my husband's boss just gave us the dog.
Suddenly my husband brought the dog here because his boss said he didn't want to take care of it, because it was crowded in their house. At first I was really scared because he was barking at us. My husband is the only one who can get close to the dog, because the dog has been tied up since he was a baby.
He would not have seen other people because he was tied up and just inside the house all the time. But it was only a few days ago that I was scared of Simba. I feed the dog when my husband is at work. That friday he was just in front of me all day because I was doing laundry in kitchen.
It was past 5:00 pm when I was about to close the kitchen door when he suddenly grabbed me by the leg, he was a big dog so he could almost touch my whole body. As in he was really standing and immediately bitten on my leg. I turned my back on him so I didn't see him immediately when he was about to grab me. I tried to get out of the kitchen but he still scratched me on the side of my stomach. When I came out of the door I couldn't speak, my sister-in-law ask me if I had been bitten but I didn't answer. She was the first to see me when our dog bit me. I just stared at my leg with a lot of blood coming out. And they were also very confused when they saw my wound. I could no longer move from where I was standing so my mother-in-law cleaned my wound. It looks like my brain is blank, that's when I looked at the blood.
The dogs bite immediately numb as well as the scratch. When my mother-in-law called my husband, he came home immediately to take me to the hospital. But I was taken around 6:00pm so the animal bite center clinic was closed. The doctor said it wasn't an emergency so on monday I will be injected with anti rabies because the animal bite center is closed. The doctor just prescribed me a medicine for a pain reliever. And the doctor said to observe the dog for 14 days.
We didn't do anything because there is no private clinic here in calbayog city, so we just went home. I also let my parents know what happened to me and they were worried. Because I was not vaccinated against rabies. I just told them that we would look for a clinic the next day because it was already night.
I was so scared when my friends, cousins, family and neighbors said that it was dangerous to be bitten by a dog, coz maybe the dog had rabies and I might also have a fever, especially with a deep wound. And they say that many have died because of rabies, others have gone crazy because rabies has entered the brain. And I was so affected, I was afraid I might be the same. I think about my children because they are still young and then they will lose their mother.
Saturday morning my husband left because he had a job, then my parents called and said I went home because there is a private clinic of animal bite center in Catarman Northern Samar.

Most important of all is enough time with family. No matter how busy you are at work, still spend the day and time with your family. As a result, a family bond becomes stronger.
My husband and I are not perfect parents to our children. Sometimes we scold them for being naughty. But we talk to them not to be naughty when we are busy, because what we do is also for them. Fortunately, they are listening. Even though they are only 6 yrs. old and 5 yrs. old, they already notice the things around them. They know that when we fight with their dad and sometimes they are the ones who cause us to get along with their dad. They tell us, why are you fighting? Don't you love each other anymore? When my husband and I heard that from our children, we looked at each other. Then we will laugh. Because they are still very young, but they already know what is happening.
When we fight, it's a few days before we get along, because we cool the situation first. And then we will talk properly. We want the two of us to understand each other.

I just stay at home all day, then clean the house, feed the pigs and fetch water. This is how mothers life is, but while I do my housework, I also sideline online ways to make money. We now need to be multi tasking because life is hard. I need to earn atleast a little, to help with household expenses.
It was afternoon when my husband came home from work, and then he invited me to buy a dish at the market for dinner. But the children requested that we eat outside. So we gave in to them because we only went out once. We ate at Mang Inasal because it's my husbands favorite, unli rice too... hahaha

And the children were very happy because what they wanted was fulfilled. So as much as possible we don't want to get pregnant again, so we can somehow give them what they want.

A day in my Life
It's tiring today but it's okay, because its worth it. I just wanted to sleep all day because its raining but I was outside earlier.
We just bought a little and its stressfull because the goods are expensive now. So I couldn't write because we would go back and forth to the shops all day.
First we went to a mini store to cash out money from my gcash, for that I will use our purchases. And then we entered a large dry goods store with many people inside, but the guard still asked us for a QR code to enter. The people inside were almost close together, But we also entered. We are looking for a bag for our children, just a small one so that it is not heavy but it fits their notebook, paper, pencil case and crayon.
My abdomen ached a lot because of menstruation, but I just put up with the pain to buy things. It even rained on me because I didn't have an umbrella. The old people used to say that when it rains and you have a period, you will go crazy because it rains on your head. Do you believe that saying?
That's why I'm crazy now, because it always rains on me. ~~chaarrrr hahaha~~
Because I don't like to carry an umbrella. So when I came home I was like a wet chick. The next day I had a cold and a fever.
All the stores we entered because we were looking for where was cheaper to save a bit. The white tshirt also ran out in stores because all the schools here face to face classes at the same time. The parents are also excited, because the children have only been at home for less than two years.
Fortunately, we still found a white t-shirt, my husband and I bought six first for each of them, for a replacement. It's hard when they only have one t-shirt. But we couldn't buy the blue shorts because no one was selling them.
This is what we bought earlier. We only bought a little but it all cost 2000 php ($40).
The price of everything is expensive now, anywhere else. So don't get married if you're single now because it's hard to budget, then it's hard to think of a dish everyday *hahaha chaaroot*

Because we are tired of going back and forth, so this is just our snack hahah. As well as balot and chicharon is also expensive. The 100 pesos is like 10 pesos now.
Do you eat balut guys? It taste good especially the soup. I haven't eaten it before because I'm scared of the chick. But my husband gave me a taste because he likes balut and it was so delicious. That's why many people eat balut because it's really delicious. I also bought chicharon because my kids and I, love it.

Hi guys! how's your day?
I've been suffering from insomnia for a few days now, it's hard for me to fall asleep. What can be done to get rid of insomnia?
I mentioned in my first article that my only problem was buying my children's school supplies, as well as their uniforms. Because my husband's salary is just enough for us to buy food and also feed our pet pig. So I'm very stressed mentally, where I'm going to buy our childrens stuff. When I was studying I didn't experience the new bag, shoes and clothes. So I don't want that happen to my children. I understood my parents back then, because life was so hard that they couldn't buy us things. The only important thing then was, that we had paper, pencils and notebooks. But even though life was hard then, my youth is very happy.
I was wondering where I could get income online to buy things for my children, so one by one I looked at my accounts that I make money online. And I was very shocked because I didn't expect it. I could get a commission from my agent account at the online casino.
I didn't expect that because my players won, because if my players won, it would be deducted 30% from my commission. So I didn't visit my account because I thought it was empty.
I got 3500 php ($65) commission. The others in the picture are my previous commissions. I'm just praying that atleast $20 I can only buy a little of their stuff. But too much was given to me. So I am very thankful to the lord. And I already received my commission in gcash, but I will buy it tommorow because my husband will come with me.
So I try to make money online because of my children, and when my parents ask, I can give even a little. When I have money, I immediately buy what they need, even if I don't have anything to buy for myself. When I earn a lot, I divide it among my parents, children and siblings. Just to make them happy. I really want to save but I can't stand it when I have money.
When you are a full-pledge mother, you can't think of what you want to buy for yourself. Because you put your childrens needs ahead of your own.
As I type this article there are blessings coming today, I seriously don't expect it now... Many many thanks to God

Incident that I will never forget
I'm sleepy....
But I can't sleep tonight, when I sleep this afternoon.
Maybe we all have events that we will never forget, wether happy, sad, complicated or scary.
I just want to share the scary thing that happened to me.
I was in my Fourth year of high school, My friend, who is also my classmate, invited me to come to Tacloban City for the proclamation ( pamamahayag ) of Iglesia Ni Cristo, but my religion is Catholic.
She wanted me to go with her, she said everything was free including fare and foods. I only lived in the boarding house when I was in high school, so I immediately agreed to go with my friend because on saturday my board mates went home to their village. So I said instead of going home, I'll just come because I also want to see Tacloban City. Saturday 4:00am we were leaving so I woke up early. I'm so excited because I can see the San Juanico Bridge, because I only saw it in my history book when I was elementary.
I was just quiet while riding in the van with the other INC members. I finally saw the longest bridge of the philippines, and we arrived safely in Tacloban City. And so many people attended.
It was afternoon when the event ended, and 4:00 am when we arrived at the INC chapel, my boarding house was a bit far from the chapel, so a member of the INC drove me. My friend didn't accompany anymore.
I was knocking on the door of our boarding house but the land lady didn't open it for me, because my land lady is old so it's not easy to wake up and she can hear quite deeply.
So I couldn't do anything, I just waited outside the boarding house until the land lady woke up. While I was sitting outside the door, a man approached me. I couldn't see his face because it was still a bit dark and he was wearing a hood jacket. His age seems to be 25 plus based on his voice and posture. He asks me if I know of a store that is open at that time, because he will buy coffee. I said nothing because I just arrived . He had other questions for me before but I don't remember yet. I answered all his questions and then later he sat down next to me, there was a small table outside the boarding house. At the table I sat while waiting for the door to open. He sat next to me, I didn't say anything because I was a little nervous. I just felt what he was going to do until the table was shaking. I suddenly looked at him. He was already holding her genitals. My eyes immediately widened, I suddenly stood up and ran towards the house on the corner just in front of our boarding house. I left my bag, because all I could think about was asking for help.
I was knocking there, I said help me. When I turned to see where the man was, he was looking at and suddenly ran away. Maybe he was also scared when I asked for help.
The owner of the house I was asking for help didn't open the door, they were probably still asleep because it was still early in the morning. But I just stood there even though the man was gone, because I was afraid he might comeback. I was very nervous and scared.
It's was 5:30am when our landlady opened the door. I was stunned at that time because I was still trembling with fear. I immediately went into my room. I was no longer able to greet my land lady. I didn't tell anyone about what happened, even with my parents because I knew they would scold me, because I didn't let them know I was going with my friend.
Eversince that happened, it seems like it's hard for me to trust, especially when I don't know the person. I still carry the fear until now, I was only 16 yrs. old when that happened. When I was alone in our house, all the doors and windows were closed. When I ride a tricycle, van or bus without my companion, I pray that nothing bad will happen to me. Because that's still in my mind.
But I thank the lord because nothing bad happened to me. Because its only been about two weeks since that happened to me. A student was raped and killed.
When I found out that I was stunned and I was very thankful to the lord that it did not happen to me, because he did not let me perish at that time.

Limited F2F classes, excited for my children
First of all, I want to wish you all a happy wonderful day. I will try if I pass here in writing the article hehehe
It's April, before when I was studying, Month of April which means the students vacation is near. So we are excited because we can also take a break from going back to school and just studying.
And we can also take a break from walking, from boarding house to school.
But it's other way around for today's students, because they're just starting to take face to face classes.
Are you also a parent who has difficulty with the module like me? Because our children are not forced to answer their modules.
Even though my two children are only Kinder and Grade 1 students, I have a hard time with their module, especially since they really need to answer. Because the teacher notices the parent, who is writing the module.
The teacher said that it was necessary to practice their fine motors with their hands, So that they can get used to writing during face to face classes.
The Principal wanted children to be vaccinated when they went to school, but because the other parents did not agree, they allowed them even if they were not vaccinated. Because it is not so strict now, because the case of covid19 has dropped.
In order to start face to face classes, the school was cleaned up for parents like me who have children who are studying at that school.
Parents were also provided with children's health kit.
Including: Towelette, glass, soap, alcohol, toothbrush and toothpaste
They also asked for childrens vaccination card, when they were babies.
Fortunately, I was careful with the important documents of my children. So I submitted immediately.
And I am excited for my children to study. Because I also want them to socialize with their classmates and teacher.
My only problem now is buying their things, such as bags, uniforms, notebooks, paper. Because the notebooks and paper I bought were gone, because they were playing and drawing the paper. Even crayon made into powder hahaha
And their classes will start on April 4, 2020 (monday). They divided each section into Set A and Set B. Set A will enter from April 4 to April 8,2022. Set B will be April 11 to April 13, 2022, because Thursday and Friday are holidays cause its Lenten season.
The Set A while they have classes, Set B they will do the modules. And that's what Set A will do when Set B is scheduled for class.
Every Parent wants it to be normal and for the pandemic to disappear forever. So that the children do not have difficulty in their studies.
