Forty-five minutes away from San Jose, the first-class municipality in the province of Occidental Mindoro, we discovered the beautiful white beach in the Barangay of Inasakan.

Inasakan Beach is formerly known as Mina De Oro Beach Resort, became popular because of its powder-like white sand, comparable to Boracay's famous white sand. The small island is surrounded by crystal clear water and protected by its natural rock formations. There are also cottages and facilities if you want to stay and relax. Boats are also available for rent if you want to try fishing or explore the other nearby white-sand beaches like Ambulong Island.

Inasakan Beach is not only lavish with beautiful scenery, but it also offers thrilling adventures. You can try visiting their caves and try their interesting snorkeling sites. The entrance fee is 50 pesos per head and cottages range 300-500 pesos only. There are no convenient stores nearby, you may prefer to bring your food and drinking water.

How to get there? From Manila, you have to travel by plane going to San Jose Occidental Mindoro. Once you arrived there, it will take you 45 minutes to one-hour boating to finally enjoy paradise!

Reservations for accommodation are not yet available. Once you are there, you may want to talk to villagers. They are simple and accommodating. Take note that Mindoro is not as civilized as Manila. If you desire to stay overnight, there are ordinary rooms with no air conditioning.
