The Fintech company Airtm has recently made public the results of its humanitarian program directed to Venezuela during 2019 called AirDrop Venezuela.

Airtm indicated having received humanitarian funds for USD 300,000 in 14 different cryptocurrencies in relation to the Bitcoin Cash community, ranking first in donation followed by Bitcoin.com, the Cash Foundation and Bitcoin, as well as Dai and MarkerDao Foundation among others.

To determine the use of the funds received by the Venezuelan beneficiaries, the Airtem company revealed the results of its survey. The survey indicated that 8.21% stated that they had used the funds to buy food and medicine.

The economic situation of Venezuelan citizens is increasingly precarious and it is a satisfaction to know that platforms like Airtm take care of and motivate the promotion of humanitarian aid with the support of cryptocurrency communities to support Venezuelan citizens in this situation.
