Many aspects of America's higher education system.

America is a continent-like country in many aspects of America's higher education system. According to Bangladesh, the United States is a group of 50 larger states. Although the country is younger than many other countries in Europe, it has developed a very good quality higher education system for one and a half hundred years. There are about four thousand universities of different sizes and quality in America. Of these, only 1400 are accredited, which is acceptable in terms of quality. Here the university can be divided into public or private.

Public University: Public means a lot in the opinion of government universities in Bangladesh. However, in the sense that they are called government universities in Bangladesh, they are not like that. There is no such thing as a university under the central government here since the United States; Rather, each state or state has more than one university under that state. They are funded from the state budget. The public says tuition fees at these universities are relatively low. However, the quality is bad. , Many public universities are world class in terms of quality. Usually these universities have the name of the state in their name. For example, the name of my university was University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This means it is the University of Illinois and it is located in the cities of Halle Urbana and Champagne. There are two more campuses in Chicago and Springfield under the University of Illinois system. Each campus is considered a separate university, so their quality can vary greatly. Again, there is no way to tell by name whether it is a state university or not. For example, Purdue University is a public university located in the state of Indiana. If you have questions about this, you can go to the Wikipedia page or website of any university and make sure that it is a public university.

Private Universities: These are private universities which are not under any state. These include the famous Harvard, Colonel, Ivy League University according to Princeton. There is also Stanford University. Private tuition fees are usually higher than public universities. However, if it is private, it does not mean that it is better than the public. Stanford - Harvard, in their opinion, has high quality universities as well as low quality private universities.

College vs. University / University: In America, college and university are usually two words. However, colleges are called universities that focus on undergraduate or undergraduate education. Many such colleges do not have higher education system at the graduate level. Universities, on the other hand, are large universities that offer higher education at the undergraduate or graduate level in addition to the undergraduate. However, there are many undergraduate major universities in the field. So you can't always tell by name what level of university it is....
