The origin of the legendary English band The Beatles dates back to 1956 when Jhon Lennon founded in Great Britain a skiffle group made up of teenagers called The Quarry Men which was later joined by Paul McCartney and Geroges Harrinson. After several changes of members and names he opted for what would definitely be The Beatles at first with a five-member line-up; John Lennon (rhythm guitar and vocals), Paul MacCartney (bass and vocals), Georges Harrison (lead guitar and vocals), Stuart Stcliffe (bass) and Pete Best (drums). They gained a certain reputation in the early 1960s at the Liverpool and Hamburg clubs. In 1961 Sutcliffe left the group and the following year Best did, which was replaced by Ringo Starr, leaving his group with only four members. They were established as a professional group after Brian Epstein became their representative and George Martin became their musical producer who, added to the group's talent, achieved great commercial success in the United Kingdom in 1962 with their first single Love Me Do
