El Mágico Mundo del Cine, is a television program dedicated to cinematographic activity, created by Francisco Afonso Concepción. The beginning: In December 1996, in a conversation held with Mr. Oscar Morales Villarroel, who at that time was VTV's Production Manager, María Teresa Afonso, who was VTV's General Producer and Producer and Director Francisco Afonso Concepción, the latter told them about his project El Mágico Mundo del Cine and exposes it to them, at the end Morales proposes to Francisco Afonso that he make a pilot to show it at the next meeting of the VTV programming committee to be held in early 1997. Immediately Francisco Afonso Concepción begins to work on the pilot, the design of the scenography is elaborated, a casting is carried out to select the anchor of the program, being selected Mikaela Castelli (who at that time had finished the career of Social Communication and was doing internships on VTV and had María Teresa Afonso as a tutor), the script is prepared by María Teresa Afonso, the presentation and covers of the program are made, once the script, presentation, covers and scenography are completed, the Estudio 4 of Venezolana de Televisión to record the pilot and later the post-production phase begins. Once the pilot is finished, it is handed over to Mr. Oscar Morales to present it to the VTV programming committee made up, among others, of Fernando Miralles (President of VTV), Oziel Rodríguez (Production Manager of VTV) and Ricardo Tirado (Manager of Programming of VTV), who on February 17, 1997 unanimously approved the pilot and put it on the air that same day at 7 at night, which incidentally coincided with the birthday of the producer and screenwriter María Teresa Afonso.
