In our writings or speech we often not think about or give importance to the use of our words whenever we recognize the gender of our subjects. When in fact, the use of those words that will label our subjects as a male or female is a very important thing when it comes to our speeches or writings . That's why we should learn these things that will fill gap of our knowledge in this thing.
By using pronouns we can distinguish someone as a male or female by using "he"for male and"she" for female and whenever we refer to things or animals that gender is undefined we can also use " it" . Although before we are taught to use " he" as a default gender to our subjects. This day it is not acceptable, we should be wary on how should we use our pronouns in our writings specially to give respect to both gender in our society.
There are also words that we should not use when in terms of labelling someone's gender instead we should use a more applicable words to describe them especially when we are using gendered nouns. Normally those gendered nouns are those nouns that have "man" in it. Since we are taught in school that the word "man" refers to a male gender and using gendered nouns might sound a bit rude to other people especially to females who are referred sometimes in this gendered nouns. The choice of good words will help us to completely involve the gender sensitivity in our speech or writings and will surely enable us to enhance on how we speak and write more by learning on how to be sensitive in using words that can be subsitute or will refers to the genders of our subjects.
