KARACHI: Three Pakistan Army officers have been awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz for saving Pakistan from a fine of ارب 1.2 billion in a car rental power case. According to details, Brigadier Rana Irfan Shakeel Rame and Lieutenant Colonel Farooq Shahbaz And Ahmed Irfan Aslam had worked hard to collect details of corruption of Turkish rental power company Karke from banks in Switzerland, Lebanon and Dubai. The three officers also collected documents from Panama and the British Virgin Islands that helped win the case against the company. As a result of these investigations, Karke dropped six cases against Pakistan.
