Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that taking care of the dignity and needs of the poor is the first priority.
Speaking on the occasion of his visit to Tarlai Shelter in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that nations are known for how they take care of their poor. The identity of a nation is not how its rich people live.
The Prime Minister further said that the concept of civilized societies is not only about getting rich but also about how the nation protects its poor, sick and weak.
He said that health cards were being given to the poor all over Pakistan.
Imran Khan directed to respect the poor people who come to the shelters.
He directed for full monitoring of model shelters and said that CCTV cameras should be installed to monitor the facilities.
The Prime Minister further said that when you maintain the quality of these shelters, the philanthropists will also help.
