Levelling Up My First Card In Splinterlands - Saved 32,9% !
In Splinterlands, you can level up your cards for some extra benefits. The process can be confusing the first time, so I thought I would share the process with you. Here you can see the card Hill Giant and that there are up to 10 levels. To get to the different levels you would need to buy a certain number of cards specified for each level.
If I am interested in upgrading to level 2. This would require 5 cards as indicated and would give me and extra benefit of 1 extra health. This may not seem like much, but an extra health could mean the difference between a win and a loss.
I am actually interested to level up to level 3 because it would give me even more benefits. Here you can see the view from Splintercards.com :
From left to right, with level 3 I would require 14 cards. This would then be the equivalent of a gold card (although not as shiny!). It would also give me 2 melee attack strength instead of 1 plus the 1 extra health instead, 7 instead of 6 from level 1.
This would give me a nice benefit and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Here you can see if I buy 14 of these cards it would cost me $0,458 or 849.727 DEC in Peakmonsters.
The alternative is that you can buy and already combined regular foil card or the shiny gold card on the market too, but it costs more:
As you can see, the price is higher by 32,9%! So you can see in this case, that if you don't mind having regular foil cards, it makes sense to combine the regular foil cards instead as you get mostly the same benefits. I have also highlighted the current highest bid. You can see that someone has calculated like I have, the market price for 14 cards and made a bid. You can also enter a bid for the card and wait if you have the time too.
Thanks for reading.
