21st Century

An Italian magazine published a 1962 cartoon illustrating how humans will survive on Earth in 2022. Since the successful landing of the Apollo 11 spacecraft in 1969, many have hoped that by the 21st century, humans will be well established on Mars and the moon, but the human race is still plagued by epidemics.
