Baked Stuffed Meat

Hello to all of you friends,

In these days when the weather is cold, meals are mostly cooked in the oven in our kitchen :) With the heat of the summer, I relieve the pain of not being able to use the oven much by using the oven when the weather gets colder.

Today, I would like to share with you the recipe for stuffed meat in the oven, one of my favorite dishes.

Ingredients for Baked Meat Stuffed Recipe:

  • 2 kg bell pepper

  • 2 cups of rice (400 ml)

  • 250-300 grams of minced meat

  • 2 tomatoes

  • A tablespoon of tomato paste

  • 3 medium onions

  • 1 teaspoon dried mint

  • Half a teaspoon of olive oil

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 2 cloves of crushed garlic

  • 2 teaspoons of salt

  • Black pepper, red chili powder.

Sauce ingredients:

  • Half a tablespoon of tomato paste

  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste

  • 1 large clove of garlic (crushed)

  • 500 -600 ml hot water

  • Half a cup of olive or sunflower oil

  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon dried mint

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe:

Let's press the stem part of our bell peppers slightly inwards and remove them together with the seeds. I cut the short stems with a knife and used them as lids. Let's wash our clean bell peppers well. Let's prepare our stuffing while they run out of water.

Let's peel the onions and cut them thinly. Let's peel the tomatoes and cut them into tiny little cubes. Let's add our rice and minced meat. Let's add tomato paste, oil and spices. Let's mix our mortar with the help of a spoon and let the flavors mix.

Let's fill the stuffing we prepared into the peppers. Let's not forget the swelling portion of the rice. Let's leave a little space. Let's make a lid of tomato on the stuffed stuffed peppers. Let's mix mint, black pepper, salt and pour it over the peppers. Water should come up to half of the peppers. If it is less, it may burn. If it is too much, it reduces the flavor.

If you want, you can cook it by covering the edges with aluminum foil so that it does not get any air, or by covering it with foil on greaseproof paper. Let's bake it at 220 degrees for 40 minutes. Let's check it after 40 minutes. Let's take it out of the oven when the top is fried. Bon appetit.
