72 people were collected for this study. They first studied for 40 minutes.

These are then divided into three groups. Members of a group began to exercise immediately after reading. The second group exercised four hours after studying. The third group did not do any exercise.

The members of the first two groups cycled and exercised for about 35 minutes.

Two days later, all three of these groups were tested to see how well they remembered each other.

The second group, those who exercised four hours after the study, were found to have the best memory.

MRI shows the part of the brain - the hippocampus, which works to remember something - the sharpest and freshest in the brain of the second group.

The idea is that the chemicals that are produced in the body as a result of exercise - such as dopamine, norepinephrine, can help to strengthen the memory.

The study was led by Guillen Fernandez, a scientist at the Dunders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior in the Netherlands.

He said the results of their tests showed that exercising over time could improve memory in the long run.

It is also possible to strengthen the weakened memories.

However, the mystery of why exercising after a few hours is good for memory is still not clear.
