Cryptotab or Brave Browser?

Now I have been using Brave browser and cryptotabn for about a month. And I already see the difference between these two browsers.

In this article, I will share my personal experience of using these two browsers and also tell you which one will be my future browser.

Brief Introduction of Brave

Brave is an open source browser developed by Brave Software. It has five different versions: Brave release, Brave Beta, Brave dev, Brave Nightly. The Brave version is currently in use around the world.

Brave integrates ERC 20 tokens created under the Ethereum blockchain into BAT (Basic Attention Token) to reward users for using the Brave browser and displaying ads. BAT does what it wants to get the user's attention and share its advertising revenue with creators in a bold browser.

In addition to this, Brave also has another feature that users can use to provide information to BAT-validated publishers. There is also a three-tier referral program that downloads, installs, and approves.

When a user downloads a brave browser from the link, they will receive a $ 5-7 bonus on registration, after installing and using it for 30 days, a brave algorithm will confirm it and add a reward for each account.

To receive the Brave Reward, users now need to open a maintenance account and connect to Brave channels such as YouTube, websites and Twitter. All this must be done in the publisher's account after becoming a verified and courageous editor. Users can also choose a currency type and be rewarded with BAT, BTC, USD and more. Depending on your choice.

ADVANTAGES

  • Very fast, efficient and with good privacy browser

  • consumes less data

  • Save browsing time by blocking Ad Blocker and Ad Tracking

  • Good referral program and reward system

  • Highly qualified and experienced team and waiting for more new and exclusive features

DISADVANTAGES

  • A limited type of browser extension

  • plug-in and add-ons are missing

  • some versions and functions are in beta.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF CRYPTOTAB

Cryptotab is a browser similar to Chrome but has an additional cryptocurrency mining feature. It can be said that it is a combination of Chrome with Mining Pool and it is the world's first browser with mining capabilities.

Unlike brave users, they are paid to surf the Internet using the Cryptotab browser. The browser automatically updates the total BTC released every 10 minutes. Consumers can increase or decrease their mining speed accordingly, but the thing is, this is not the actual BTC they are mining, this is the same Manero that is then in BTC. Has been changed. Cryptotab is available in mobile and PC versions.

It has an MLM referral system up to level 10 where the user will get 15% of their first referral, then 10% of the second and so on up to 0.06% in 10 degrees.

There are two versions: Cryptotab and Cryptotab Pro. In the Cryptotab version, the user must use the browser at least once a day to start the mining process and it was free.

ADVANTAGES

  • This is the first browser that can mine BTC for free.

  • Lighter than other mining processes.

  • Supports synchronization between multiple devices.

  • It offers over 150 extensions.

  • Usage is simple.

  • With a simple withdrawal method, you can withdraw whenever you reach 0.00001 BTC mining

  • Cryptotab is 8 times faster than Chrome

DISADVANTAGES

  • It uses more power than any other browser.

  • BTC mining in a cryptotab is not profitable unless the user gets a lot of referrals.

  • There is no transparent information about the owner.

  • Browsing speed is slower than bold browsers.

  • You have to invest to speed up the mining process.

CRYPTOTAB VS BRAVE BROWSER

  • BROWSING SPEED

If you use a browser, it's all that speed. Also, when it comes to browsing speed, Brave is faster than Cryptotab and even slower than the browser. Compared to Brave, Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer, Cryptotab is fourth and Brave is first. So you can decide from here.

  • REWARD SYSTEM

Both Brave and Cryptotab reward users for using the browser. However, in this case Cryptotab is much better than the Brave Browser. This is because you can only run after the withdrawal has reached the minimum limit and you don't have to wait 30 days. And payment is made in BTC.

  • PRIVACY AND EXTENSION

They both offer a good data protection system, but privacy brave is more advanced than Cryptotab, as they develop a new method of fingerprinting for privacy. But in the case of an extension, Cryptotab offers around 150 types of extensions where the brave ones have a limited extension.

  • DATA AND POWER CONSUMPTION

Brave browsers consume a lot of data and power, but cryptotab use a lot of power for the mining process and can damage your device in the long run.

  • ADS BLOCKER AND TRACKER

Both have the ad blocking feature, but the brave ad blocking feature is more effective than cryptotab. It also saves time in the browser.

  • TRANSPARENT OWNERSHIP

CryptoTab sounds a bit fishy when it comes to business owners. The owner of this browser is unknown and he only provides an email to contact his team. They make actual payments, but cannot guarantee how long they will last. But the brave have a well-deserved team led by former Firefox developer Brendon Eich.

From the above comparison, this is not referral and there is no doubt that Cryptotab is better and more user friendly and more advanced than any other browser.

I don't understand why anyone would use Cryptotab on their PC or Laptop. On These devices it's actually using your cpu to mine the most profitable coin (generally monero). they're taking a sweet cut and you're getting chrome but slower because it's mining.

I totally understand running it on android and iphone however, as it's not actually reducing the lifespan of your battery or cpu.
