Yakiniku party!! Japanese BBQ!
Yakiniku - Japanese BBQ party 🍖As one would expect, the professionally prepared , Yakiniku party, BBQ - barbecue was exceptional! My friend is a chef working in a restaurant, and my friend invited other friends living in #Stockholm to a #Yakiniku BBQ party. When my #Swedish friends visit #Japan, we often go out to eat Yakiniku together. In Japan, the usual Japanese meal is usually seafood seasoned with dashi broth (katsuo dashi or kombu dashi), but after a few days, my friends usually ask for meat. When they go to a yakiniku restaurant, Swedish friends usually think of grilled steak or salmon, but they are usually surprised when they see Japanese yakiniku. The reason for this is that there are many things that are commonly eaten in Japan, but not so often in Sweden, that are served at yakiniku. My friend cooked these unusual Japanese ingredients in a truly delicious way, and we had a great time at the yakiniku party. Can you imagine what kind of barbeque parties we have held in Sweden? It was so authentic and amazing! The dishes they cooked for us were fried chicken gizzards, sauteed tinned chicken heart, and sliced beef tongue (grilled, of course). Wow, right? Weird? LOL!!Some friends brought a lot of beer from Japan and we drank Sapporo beer for the first time in a long time. Eating yakiniku and drinking beer was really like eating food at a Japanese food stall, and it really felt like I was back in #Osaka. We had a good time. I hope we can get together again.
