What would happen if one day we ran out of electricity?

This question sometimes makes me think. I often wonder how and what would it be? I think it would leave very big consequences.

Every company, even those in power and all public services, use computers where they have their own database. Then all the shops would stop working, refrigerators would melt, countless foods would spoil.

Cash registers cannot work, weighing scales too.

Even in this pandemic, an online school could not work.

I think it would become a general chaos, a catastrophe of an incredibly economic situation.

This post to write prompted me to read at @Jigglyspy she wrote about Nikola Tesla.

Can you imagine how much Nikola Tesla contributed to his invention. What are these discoveries for humanity?

If he hadn't discovered and invented this, I don't think other scientists could have discovered it. I don't think so many technologies could have been devised.

How to come up with a new technology if you don't have an existing main source.

I think they would still live without electricity, with candles, gas lamps.

So instead of writing this post, maybe then I would do something about agriculture.

Otherwise, what do you think about it, what would it be like to run out of electricity one day?

Not so long ago, due to a snowstorm and a breakdown in the transmission network, Majdanpek was left without electricity. Strong sediments and winds created huge glaciers that broke those conductors of electricity. The power outage itself led to a number of problems. There was no water or heating. There was no water because the pumps did not have electricity to push the water, and the same situation was with the heating. Of course, there was no fixed or mobile network. Gas stations did not work. You just couldn't move from here. And all that in December 2014, when the temperature was -10 degrees. I can freely say that the world stopped for us on the 5th day. Without the most basic things for life, nowadays, it would be very difficult to adapt.
