This is Edward Mordrake of England, who lived in the 19th century and had a rare anomaly, two faces, one of which was at the nape of the neck.
He thought that the other person was "demonic" and wanted the doctors to remove him, but no one then dared to even think of trying such a procedure. What bothered Edward the most, as he said at the time, was that his face often "utters demonic words" at night.
He had no control over that person, who was not confirmed to be able to eat or speak, but was reported to be laughing or crying.
Tom Waits, an American singer and songwriter, even released a song dedicated to Edward on one of his albums in 2002, entitled "Poor Edward".
So far, no such case has been reported in medicine, although several similar anomalies have been documented, for example in Pascal Pinon of Mexico, who had two heads and the other was like a growth on his forehead.
Eventually, Edward committed suicide at the age of 23, unable to endure life in such a state.
I can understand why he made suicide.Man can not live with such anomaly.Very sad.
