The mere mention of the word cancer generates uncertainty, fear, anxiety even because we not only fear for our well-being but it is completely natural to fear for the health of those we love, of our loved ones, of those who surround us and make up our closest environment. , even more so when we have seen the effects and consequences that this disease has on people's lives, since it is not just a flu or a headache, it brings with it symptoms that even and unfortunately prevent people from developing a normal life, even though Of course, this depends on what stage of development it is in, now to clarify and clear up doubts that many may have about what this disease is and what its causes are, below I will explain a little in summary and according to my criteria:

Cancer is a serious issue, it is an issue that deserves to be treated with such seriousness, because it is deadly, unfortunately it has ended lives, there are many who are reading this and feel identified because perhaps they know a story of someone who suffers from it or suffered from it, it is a disease that is evidently currently being investigated, many analyzes and studies have been carried out that obviously still have not led to a cure but it has led to advances to achieve it, other advances have been made in technology and in devices that can help suppress abnormal cells in the body as with radiotherapy, it should be noted that this does not only help against cancer, it is also an instrument used in many other diseases, it is also necessary to point out that radiotherapy consists of the adequate and correct use of X-rays , another option that has been of great relevance to help in the process to overcome the disease is chemotherapy, which is a series of chemicals that we enter the body with the same objective as the previous one, to eradicate all or most of the cells that cause the disease.

When we live closely with the disease, it is natural that we question many aspects that surround it and, above all, there is a doubt that many perhaps also share with me, and that is that it is a disease that originated, of which there is a record that emerged in antiquity in the year 1600 BC. in Egypt, it is evident that many years have passed, many periods, a lot of evolution, technological progress today is unquestionable and there is still no cure, there is nothing that can prolong life especially when it is advanced, it can be seen as ingratitude but it really is a premise of desperation to see so many people suffering and suffering, gratitude is undeniable especially for the doctors, for those who dedicate their lives to study but above all to taking care of all those who have it, they are people and professionals to admire, their approach and empathy in each case that is presented to them is supremely admirable.

Yesterday was the day of one of the ramifications of the disease, chronic myeloid leukemia, a disease that the mere mention of its name denotes how strong it is, it is also necessary to add that this does not discriminate, it attacks everyone equally, men women, adolescents, the elderly and even the most defenseless and innocent children, who really were incredible that it did not affect them but nature is stronger than desires and we cannot control many aspects of life, we must learn to live it, to fight, to be strong to be able to overcome what lies ahead, because although for many you are a death sentence, it is something that can be overcome there are many people who have achieved it and you can too, 2020 was a super strong year for everyone, it is evident what we all live but for me it was a hard year, in addition to covid, I experienced news that tore my heart and made me live in the front row what it was like to have a family member with this pathology, accepting it is hard, but there is no time to question everything that is thought to act, to attack to win small battles, to gain ground to wage war, living closely the chemotherapy process changed my perspective on those who suffer from it.

This process marked a true before and after because it made me question that we use many words to describe those who suffer from it, but especially a conjecture and that is that everyone who achieves it is brave, I think that although unfortunately he loses the war against this and his life no longer inhabit this world is still a winner, they are and were people who had to go through a process with ups and downs that was not easy at all, a process in which they gave everything of themselves but destiny is stronger at times, as we know the life is a process marked by a beginning and an end, the hope is always that the end will come later, especially in the elderly, but that is out of our control, there are short, medium and long processes, but what can be confirmed with total seriousness is that they are enriching processes that allow us to value more what we have and make us let go and open our wings to go after our dreams, cancer has good and bad things.
