A Trip to Tangadan Falls

Summer break was reaching its end, my siblings together with my cousins decided that it was time to at least go out of the city and enjoy every last bit of the fading summer vibe. Deciding where to go was our first obstacle since this would probably be the last summer we would spend together, rather than just going to the beach we wanted to do something that we have never tried. After numerous hours of discussing and contemplating on where to go it was decided that Tangadan Falls in San Gabriel, La Union was our destination. The day began with the sky shrouded by
clouds, it did not look like an appropriate day to go on an outdoor adventure but our determination did not waver. During that time, it would already be considered the beginning of the rainy season the entire city of Baguio was gloomy however when we got into the province of our destination the weather condition was more desirable. Upon arriving at our destination, we were set and ready for an adventure only to be
greeted by an array of surprises.

When we finally reached Tangdan Falls we were all astonished by its magnificence and roaring sounds. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to experience the full potential of this trip since the currents were strong and it began to rain although we were
still allowed to swim along the river. However, if the weather condition was better than the time we went, there are more activities that can be enjoyed like cliff jumping and going under waterfall. When your satisfaction has reached its max, if you went to there by your private vehicle you could either walk the trek again back to it or what most people would do, take another 20 minute walk to the motorcycle/tricycle terminal there you could hire them and take you back to your vehicle or for those who didn’t use their private vehicles they could take you to the jeepney station that would take you back to your bus terminal or hotel. If you are a large group however the tour guides can call for a jeep to pick up directly from there and what makes it even for fun is that they let you choose if you want to stay inside or on top of the jeep! Now the journey is nearly complete but what a better way to end it in a restaurant by the beach!

Now when it comes to the food and delicacies in La Union, I
would highly recommend the restaurant we ate in called Natalna Grille.
This restaurant is by the shoreline located in San Fernando, La Union. Their
food varies from Filipino to Japanese cuisine, they offer Appetizers/Pulutan, Sashimi, Snacks, Soup, Rice, Salads, crispy/fried dishes, grilled Beef, grilled pork, grilled Seafood, sizzling dishes and a wide selection of beverages. The quality of their food is remarkable and or the prices they are offered are totally worth it. When deciding what to order I recommend getting their Chicharon Bulaklak and their Aligue rice/Crab Fat rice this is what we ordered for seconds because the flavors blend so well together. However, if those dishes do not fit your personal preferences, they offer a wide range of food to select from what I mentioned earlier.

When given the opportunity to travel along with either your close relatives or friends, take it and enjoy every episode of your life. In conclusion this journey was indeed unique on its own nature and is definitely a memory that will never be forgotten.

And I don't know if this is big news but I have an instagram account @pawnyeta where I post all of my photographs including the ones I've posted here and as well as my travel buddy, which is a chess pawn that I take photos of (refer to the photos below), so if you happen to check out my account please do follow it and thank you for reading I hope you all enjoyed!
