Went to an ice-cream shop lately to treat a friend for her birthday. Inside Scoop is a Malaysian homegrown ice cream brand who claims that their ice cream was freshly made using premium ingredients without artificial flavourings or preservatives. I've bought this ice cream brand as a gift to a few friends before, but I've not personally tried it. There were 5 of us, so we selected 3 different flavours to share - Pistachio, Cempedak (a Southeast Asian fruit that has pretty similar taste as Jackfruit), and Valrhorna Chocolate. Pistachio flavour has the mildest taste among all but it is sweet. Meanwhile, the Cempedak flavor was good as it really tasted like real Cempedak fruit, but it became too sweet for me after a few tasting as well. Haha. Thank God, Valrhorna Chocolate flavour is bittersweet like dark chocolate. So that's my favourite among the three! ❤ The shop has a lovely interior design too. There are two flight of stairs that you can sit on that leads up to a rainbow. Like you're floating in the clouds. Makes you feel like you'll be on cloud nine after eating their ice cream. Haha. Hope to try their ice-cream cakes one day! 🍦
