Had a bowl of hearty Assam Laksa @ Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock restaurant, KL East Mall for my lunch today. :) Assam Laksa is a traditional Malaysian fish-based sour-savoury noodle soup. The dish consists of rice noodles, shallots, shredded fish, sliced cucumber and pineapples, quarter half of calamansi lime and peppermint as topping. Meanwhile, the soup base is made of dried chillies, shrimp paste, turmeric, galangal, shallots, and lemon grass. It is my first time trying this dish at this restaurant and my bowl of assam laksa tasted yummylicious! The soup is power packed with flavors and there's a generous amount of shredded fish in the soup, which i really like! ❤ If you're someone who likes your noodle soup to be flavorful, tangy, and little spicy, you'll probably like this! 😋 #foodphotography
