Love yourself This article is some how related to my article yesterday. It is not a continuation of that article but it has connection with it. For me it is important to love yourself first for you to be able to give love to others. Loving yourself does not mean being selfish. And one way of it is how you let other treat you. As what the saying said "***how*** ***you treat yourself is how you are inviting the world to treat you".*** Coz you are the one who teach the people how you will be treated. It is not only applied to your partner but it should also apply in everyone you meet.

This is what I have said on my article yesterday. If from the very start you allow your partner not to treat you good, well definitely he will not treat you better later on. I know that you can never tell or you will never see all the bad attitude of one person in an instance. But observing one's behaviour will save you from a mess. Yes there are possibilities that a not so good person will change for a better, but sometimes you have to lay your cards in order for them to realize what is wrong with them. Sometimes there are people who already experienced to be abused by their partner while they are still in dating stage but still decided to marry the one who abused them. But why do others stay in toxic and abusive relationship? Does it means that they not love theirselves? I watched an clip interview of a tv program to a psychologist . According to her mostly of those kind of cases, their experience in childhood has a big impact why they end up like that. They allow it to happen because they want to please other people. While other stays simply because they do not know where to start. Those wife who only depend on their husband while other reason is they want to stay because they dont want their marriage to be broken and be a broken family. Mostly of those people are thinking that it will affect their children. This is why it is important to love yourself so that you will be able to give love. Loving yourself or setting standards on how you will be treated does not guarantee that your marriage will last for the rest of your lives. Because as what they said ***"A long lasting marriage is built by two people who believe in and live by the solemn promise they made".***
