The more recent generations prefer to be in more control of all aspects of their life, but I think it’s the propagation of financial advice being dished out on social media platforms. “FinTok” and all the new trading apps, many people will overestimate their ability to manage their finances, so there are still scenarios and use cases where financial advisors can be helpful.

• Trust: You and your financial advisor should have mutual trust. This is very important as different advisors tend to give additional recommendations. So it can easily mislead you. Only when you have mutual trust can you manage to get the best returns on your investment.
