Road To The Glory Land - Final Update

During a recent town square, the splinterlands team remained tight-lipped about the details of the Land 1.5 release even though their enthusiasm for it was palpable. They avoided mentioning dates but made it evident that they are focused on ensuring a good debut for Land 1.5. August has been earmarked as the month for the Land 1.5 release emphasizing their dedication to creating an impression. Interestingly various discussions unfolded during the event covering topics such as the intricacies of land surfing and the integration of lore into the game. I am intrigued by what awaits us in the Land 1.5 release. The idea of monsters engaging in activities like SPS mining or crop cultivation sparks my curiosity although precise details are still unclear. Let's hope that the user interface will seamlessly guide players through this territory.

Land Fund Update

With two magical Land plots in my possession and ten Beta edition monsters ready for action, I have $100 worth of DEC tokens. I am fully prepared, for the arrival of Land 1.5 and eager to witness how these land plots will yield returns and fulfill their promised utility. The total amount invested in the Land plots is $255 – it will be interesting to see whether we will be able to generate a return to pay off this investment.

A New Challenge?

Throughout my three-year adventure in splinterlands, there has been a theme; the pursuit of challenges that hold me accountable and drive progress. The completion of the thousand-pack opening challenge is now a thing of the past. Owning an entire regular Chaos Legion edition set is complete. A few days ago, I acquired two Land plots marking another milestone in my journey.

Now as I stand, I eagerly look forward to the next chapter in my splinterlands journey. One thing has become clear; I don't have a Runi in my collection. As I contemplate what lies ahead, I realized how valuable Runis can be. My interest lies in NFTs that go beyond aesthetics and prioritize utility at their core. I anticipate that as Land 1.5 unfolds and future iterations are released, Runis will play a role in splinterlands evolving ecosystem.

Runi's price has seen a rise in the past three months with the Runi markets floor now standing at 0.435 ETH ($805). Bids are hovering around 0.315 ETH ($600). History has shown that the utility of NFTs plays a role in their valuation e.g., Axie Infinity, sorare. When an NFTs offers a way to recover its cost its value has the potential to moon.

As one chapter comes to an end, another one opens. Each conclusion brings forth challenges and opportunities waiting to be seized. With anticipation, we find ourselves on the brink of the phase within the splinterlands realm eagerly awaiting the release of Land 1.5.
