Another week has gone by in my challenge to open 1000 Chaos Legion packs, and I will closely monitor and transparently share all details about the challenge in these posts.

Road to opening 1000 Chaos Legion Packs Week 35 Update

This challenge has given me the perspective that success in the long term is fraught with many obstacles, diversions, forks in the road, etc. When you see all the social media influencers and YouTubers promoting the content of how they made ‘x’ millions in the latest NFT or shilling a new cryptocurrency coin – what you don’t see is the day-to-day slog of the effort involved or the number of failures that were endured. Weeks like I experienced this week, have become the norm – nothing substantial to showcase and losing more than 60% of value by opening the packs. However (and yes, I am projecting this by writing this down), a long-term perspective is required. I believe in splinterlands long-term, and these losses now, I am hoping, lead to long-term gains. This week was particularly rough, as there was nothing of substantial received, not even a solitary regular foil legendary.
