Another week has gone by in my challenge to open 1000 Chaos Legion packs, and I will closely monitor and transparently share all details about the challenge in these posts.

Road to opening 1000 Chaos Legion Packs Week 31 Update

After being in the splinterlands ecosystem for over two years, the splinterlands team keeps surprising and knocking things out of the park. For those not keeping up to date, the past splinterlands town hall details were revealed about the upcoming Riftwatcher pack edition, the Genesis League whitepaper, and Generative Profile Picture (PFP) details. And this is all being done while we are in a cyclical crypto bear market - unbelievable and amazing simultaneously. While much excitement abounds, I still have this challenge to focus on, keeping me grounded and focused. Onto this week's pack opening, we received quite a few decent cards, which got placed on the rental market for me to earn and stack that sweet, sweet DEC. However, we have regressed to the mean, with another negative profit/loss and negative yield, which is expected now, especially as this challenge has been going on for close to 9 months.

Key Cards

As I mentioned above, I received a couple of decent cards, which I was able to put on the rental market to earn DEC. Also, happy to report that another legendary monster, Desert Dragon, was received and continuing the trend of at least receiving one legendary monster in the pack openings. If I recall correctly, there have been only 1-2 weeks where I didn't receive a legendary monster.
