With such a short amount of time left in 2023 Q1, it's an excellent opportunity to push ourselves to make more progress and achieve what we set out to do. However, it's also essential to take a step back and reflect on whether these goals align with our overall journey with Splinterlands.

Obtain a complete regular foil Chaos Legion set playable in Gold Leagues by the end of 2023 Q1 - Update 5

When I started this challenge, the total spending required to complete the first challenge was circa $260. As the challenge has progressed, I have spent $118.23 so far. To complete the first challenge and purchase the remaining cards, I will be required to spend an additional $154 and take the total spend to $272, which is a 4.6% increase from 5-6 weeks ago.

The impact on the price has been small, with the Chaos Legion set printing coming to an end. However, I still have more significant challenges ahead, so I am worried that the prices will continue to rise. Nonetheless, it does bode well for my longer-term investment into splinterlands.

Key Stats

I purchased six cards which allowed me to level up five cards to their required level, and I am down to the remaining four cards to complete the first challenge. This week, I leveled some real powerhouse cards in Possibilus the Wise, Uriel the Purifier, and those valuable zero mana-cap legendary monsters.
