Owning a Complete Chaos Legion Regular Foil Set and Land – Update 17

As mentioned in our previous post, the splinterlands development team announced an exciting promo event and shared more details about the highly anticipated Great Burning event. The event is now officially live and will continue for 30 days. Splinterlands players now have a golden opportunity to win a range of valuable assets, including titles, land plots, Runi, and booster packs, simply by actively participating in this event. The mechanics of the event involve players burning DEC or DEC-B tokens and accumulating points based on the number of tokens burned. While I typically prefer to focus on my challenges within splinterlands, it's hard not to get excited about the prospect of winning one of these fantastic prizes.

In a recent breakdown analysis conducted by renowned hive content creator @libertycrypto27, the chances of winning a raffle prize were analyzed in great detail. After carefully reviewing this analysis, I decided to stick to my strategies and not risk utilizing the funds I have diligently built up over the past 17 weeks in the hopes of winning a prize. However, for those who do choose to participate, I wish you the best of luck as these prizes are truly remarkable and reflect the generosity of the splinterlands development team.

Land Funds

Turning our attention to the Land asset fund, there has been a pleasing $40 increase this week. As we approached the end of the month, I find it useful to consolidate all of my crypto earnings from various sources and redirect them towards specific goals. Last year, my focus was on the pack opening challenge, which required significant external cash injections to complete the challenge. This year, however, I have taken a more frugal approach, solely utilizing my crypto earnings to complete a regular foil Chaos Legion deck and acquire at least one piece of land. I am on the verge of purchasing a land asset, which aligns perfectly with the imminent release of Land 1.5 release.

Land Prices

Continuing, it is difficult to ignore the recurring trend of declining land asset prices across the board. While the rate of decline has been relatively smaller this week, it is still quite evident. Notably, we have seen an Unsurveyed Land asset dipping below the $100 mark for the first time, marking an almost 50% decrease from the previous week. While it remains uncertain whether the Great Burning event is contributing to this decline or if it is simply a reflection of the broader crypto bear market. Nonetheless, these regular posts have provided valuable insights into the Land asset market.
