This week's battle challenge focuses on the Kobold Miner:
The Kobolds of the Burning Lands are skilled at seeking and extracting precious stones from the innards of the planet. Their favorite tools are torches and hammers. Thanks to the extreme pride they take in their mining work, they happily accept their situation of servitude to the Torch.
Card
The Kobold Miner is a must have card for the Fire Splinter in low mana cap battles. I have it at level 5, which improves its speed, damage and health. These upgrades are a no-brainer and adds to its usefulness in those low mana cap battles. Also, the sneak ability is very useful in attacking monsters in the last position, which are the monsters who either provide healing ability to the enemy monsters or range and magic monster who deal high damage.
Battle
In the following battle, showed the importance of why upgrading Kobold Miner really adds to its resilience and usefulness in low mana cap battles. The enemy's Kobold Miner was level 1, whereas I have mine at level 5. When my Kobold Miner attacked, it attacked the enemy's Kobold Miner and due to the increased damage, it took out the enemy's Kobold Miner in one hit. Dealing that blow set the tone for the rest of the battle and I was victorious in the end. Full Battle Replay
