This week's battle challenge focuses on the Child of the forest:

The rivers of Life and Power make it easy to survive in the Forests of Anumün. Runaway Human and Goblin children have always found their ways into the enchanted Forests where they can live without parental rule. These children are as dangerous as they are resourceful, having taught themselves to survive in a world of natural chaos and social alienation.

Card

A range monster card with one of the highest base speeds I have played with. This almost guarantees that this card will attack first in a round. Its a pity that it does low damage, however the snipe ability does allow it to target other range and magic monsters, who generally have low health but can do high damage.

Battle

I generally struggle against Fire splinters when using the Earth splinters. Especially when the Fire splinters are using beta, alpha or promo cards. This battle couldn't have gone better for me - I didn't lose one friendly monster. My unicorn mustang absorbed all the enemy monsters damage, while Child of the forest did a lot of the support damage by focusing its damage against the enemy's backline. Full Battle Replay
