We LIVE in three worlds; the material world that surrounds us., ths spiritual world that is in everyone of us, and the magic world of literature which books open to us. The first is the world of nature ans God's beautiful gifts to us; the second is the world within us- oud thoughts and our feelings; the third is the magic world that literature and other forms of art open to our eyes.
Nature lies all around us. It is the fresh air we breathe, the green grass spread like a carpet under out feet, the blue sky above. Nature is the flowers that bloom today and die tomorrow. Nature speaks to us in the rain and in the sunshine. Nature speaks to us in the eternal stars twinkling in a midnight sky.
Everywhere nature invites our attention and admiration. The plants in the garden, the trees along the road, the butterflies among the leaves and flowers, the clouds in the sky, the cool breeze - all view for our attention. These are the things we see every day, but many of us hardly notice them. The fields, barren in the dry season, turn green when the rains come.The flowers that bloom, the leaves that fall, the common grass that grows by the wayside - all have elements if beauty. If we can see this beauty and make others see it, our lives become so much more enjoyable and so much richer.
