I saw this flower on the side of the path where I usually take my brother's dog. In fact, the full stretch of the path on the left side is full of this flower. At first I thought, they're weeds but when I checked google, it's actually an ornamental plant and a medicinal plant. But other parts of the world like the US, I think, calls it weed. Anyways, I don't mind whether it's a weed or not but I'm planning to get some and put them in pots and hopefully I will get some of these lovely flowers. They remind me of beautiful petunias. Maybe they are family. And oh, the name of this flower is ruellia tuberosa/ minnieroot/ fever root/ snapdragon root/ English meadow weed, etc. Have a good day / evening noise maties!!! #thoughts #myphoto #Photography

It's beautiful flower, it's nice to have them as ornemental flower, I agréé with you
That is true, it will be my soon to be ornamental flowers...
calling that plant weed is fine when we see plants in pathways that live independently to nature, vigorous amount of plants are treated weed. maybe in the US, they don't rely on ornamental plant we see commonly outside because they can easily buy many expensive plants from the store and decorate it on their house same as herbs they don't rely too much on herbs because they have a budget for those processed drugs prescribed by their doctors. unlike us Filipinos, who rely on ornamental plants to add beauty on our houses for free, most especially herbs aside from the nice effects on our health, its also free, we can save money from having knowledge, knowing some kinds of plants with health benefits
This flower reminds me of another similar light purple flower name called Morning Glory :)
I heard about that plant name Morning Glory but I have no idea how it looks...I'll look it up. I also think it looks like purple petunias except for the leaves.
