How come the truth hurts so much more

When you heard it from the ones you love?

From someone you trust so much

Why does the truth hurts so much more

When it was covered with sugar-coated lies?

Rather than plain, old bluffs?

How can you believe that's the truth

When you were betrayed not just once

Not twice

But more?

Why can you still believe that's the truth

When you were hurt, stabbed in the chest

By the words coming out from their mouths

Lies and reasons, all together

Like a sword

Cutting in you so deep

How?

Why?

It hurts because it is true love. You invested so much time,effort and give all your love to that person and being cheated really hurts.

I know :( There's also a tendency that you'll question the love you received, if its real or not, after hearing the truth behind the lies. You felt betrayed by the ones you love and trusted.
