Why does crushing on a friend have to hurt so much?
My friend and I have a weird history(?). He liked me first and then I started liking him but we never made anything more of it b/c we’ve been busy with life and school. Then i fell off the face of the earth (didn’t ghost him, I told him about it all) to focus on myself and my mental health cuz i was just all over the place. Fast forward, I’m feeling better and i reach out to him. Idk how he feels now, it’s been some time. We still talk like we used but it’s also just different... like I can just tell. You know? But my feelings are stronger than ever, and it sucks. Why couldn’t my feelings just go away. F*** this. I’m fine with just being his friend, but I just wish we could be more.:( idk, hopefully one day.
