Qutub Minar Delhi, a phenomenal minaret and a mysterious iron pillar Qutab Minar is a 73-meter-high tower, the construction of which began in 1200, and was started by the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, supposedly as a sign of victory immediately after the defeat of the last Hindu kingdom of Delhi. However, the construction of the last, fifth floor was not completed until 1368. This construction marvel of technology, which stands a bit ruined but intact to this day, amazes many architects and engineers from all over the world. The iron pillar at the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque - the work of foreign civilizations? Quwwat-ul-Islam is the first mosque to be built in India, it consists of an inner and outer courtyard, decorated with ramparts, and in its courtyard there is a pillar weighing 6 tons and 7 meters high. The design is over 1600 years old and shows no signs of rusting. Scientific studies have shown that 98 percent is pure iron, and the remaining 2 percent is copper and phosphorus.
