Amritsar - day and night in the friendly Sikh capital - The Golden Shikha Temple This is where the famous Golden Temple is located, which is a place of Sikh pilgrimage, and for them is like the Vatican for Christians or Mecca for Muslims. In Amritsar, despite the crowds of pilgrims, it is peaceful, it is quiet, you can feel the atmosphere of friendship and genuine spiritual rapture. The temple was built in the middle of the 'Lake of Immortality' in which Sikhs venerate the holy book of Granath Sahib. Every follower would like to see her at least from a distance.
