Nymphalis antiopa - Nymphalis mourner (Beauty of Camberwell), a difficult object to photograph Although the butterfly I present is one of the most skittish, I managed to take some attractive shots of this insect. This beautiful butterfly has such a name for a reason. It has dark brown wings, surrounded by a cream coating, and brightly shimmering spots on the edges of the wings. The butterfly can grow up to 90 mm wingspan, which makes it one of the largest butterflies in Europe. The butterfly can be found in very different areas. We can find it in parks, gardens, glades, and even in the mountains at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level.
