a latent pandemic, a virus has reached us, with it many changes, starting with our lifestyles, this pandemic has hit us where it hurts the most, not being able to go out in a normal way, to go on a trip or to the beach, I understand that for many people it must not be easy to process this confinement, among many conversations with family and neighbours all have come to different conclusions and although they are not the same all have the same question.

For me in particular this pandemic has been a lesson, we lived in a carefree way, now well, maybe in a few years we will have a better way to see life and appreciate it for example, although we like everything that hurts us, we must also be more considerate with our body, the way we live, those habits that go against life, are the main enemies in this pandemic fight, as it costs us to stay at home and respect this quarantine.

How resilient are we?
to be able to know our capacity to adapt to different abversities is a positive sign in all this storm caused by the virus, when I mention the terminology resilience I am talking about the coping styles that each person has in different stressful situations, many people do not even know what to do in case of having a relative with the virus, they end up getting sick more than the patient himself, they fail to understand that they must calm down and evaluate the situation, they end up falling into a hole created by their fears and fears, in other words the battle is lost.
today in my free time at work i met with a psychologist i know, we spent a long time talking and among so many topics the one that sounds the most at the moment, the covid 19 virus, she told me that the virus becomes more lethal because of the lack of mental preparation of the people, that is to say, she explains that many times people even when they are not prepared for the virus, they are not prepared for it, she explains that many times people, even without falling into the disease, already begin to feel symptoms and not only that, it affects the immune system in such a way that it weakens it, so they end up being sure victims of a virus that knows well how to attack the most vulnerable people.
I also commented that one option that is being studied very closely is to start giving talks or transmitting messages on how to act in moments of anguish, stress, created by the virus, our coping styles are the ones that will not give us the capacity to face the situation and not only prevent our immune system from being weakened.
Another point to highlight was the lack of psychological preparation in the face of negative news, we have to be realistic, we are facing a situation that urges us to be concise, to be able to keep calm and above all to help us to have a better perception of the different scenarios that surround us.
In my case there have been several mishaps lately, the lack of gas and water to take a normal shower or wash has kept us under constant stress, it is not possible to be calm at home without being able to think that we can not cook freely and much less wash what we dirty, my grandmother as I mentioned is an elderly woman with a wonderful problem solving ability, she has managed to keep her calm when it comes to finding solutions, with her wide experience she taught us that for everything there is a solution, the important thing is to be calm, the most practical solution that my grandmother looked for was, to buy a snail or kind of cooker, to place some conductive cables of electricity and this way to have a homemade electric kitchen, the ability that she possesses to solve with facility the things surprises me in many cases, it is as if nothing avoids when she wants to do something always has solutions. Clear thinking like my grandmother's is the key to times of crisis.
Change of habits
Just as my grandmother manages to solve everyday problems, we can also understand that we must look for safe and beneficial solutions. Although in my case I liked to go to train very early in the morning, followed by a dance class and then go to work at the office, today my routine is not the most convenient so I had to devise a strategy to continue to develop a normal lifestyle, completely healthy and without losing my daily routine.
health is the most important thing, it is useless to have money if our health is compromised, therefore we must be aware of the damage we do to ourselves if we do not take care of ourselves, that is why maintaining our routines at home is very important to change our habits, look for strategies, modify our behavior, each and every one of these characteristics are decisive in all this, what some thought at one time useless as training at home today has become a necessity.
in general i always went to the gym i liked the atmosphere and above all the great variety of machines, now i go indoors, if it is true the difference is a lot but there is something very important in all this, the security in my home will not give me being in a gym, so it is important to respect the biosafety and thus safeguard the lives of all our loved ones, also is that in your home may not exist many ways to work the muscles in its entirety, but if we know a little about the training we will know that we can also look for ways to perform exercises that involve several muscles at once, increase our repetitions and even weight is also important, not to get bored because we change the routine every day, there is not much to do, then friends let's be creative change the way in which we trained look for new exercises that do not compromise your body and can damage your physical integrity for everything there is a solution as my grandmother says.
Change of habit the biggest lesson is the one we are learning, it is not about time, it is not about money, much less about survival of the fittest, it is about intelligence together, the strength we can get from others, supporting each other makes us stronger, more resilient and able to overcome situations that perhaps otherwise we would not be able to. Let's be able to understand the incomprehensible. If we have to stay at home for a week, then look at the positive side of the situation, you will have more time with your family since when do you not dedicate 15 minutes to your family? since when do you not share quality time with the most important people? can we accept any situation that comes our way? between the darkness of the world and the light in our eyes, there will be a reflection that shows our way, it's as simple as that.
