It was already night time when I finished my school works at school, I immediately went home since I’m really tired to work my ass out more and my phone is dead. As soon as I reached back home, I sighed to see the door is still lock. “I guess my roommate is going to be really late,” I said. I put my bag in the living room and proceeded to our bedroom where we share a double decked bed.

To my surprise, he was there at his spot in the upper deck, watching me as I soon entered the room. It creeped me out because he smiled as if he was expecting me. I got really mad, since he didn’t text me earlier before my phone died that he’d be back soon, given that I’m tired, he even locked the goddamn door. I didn’t have the time and energy to argue and he went back to lay down and scroll on his phone like he usually does.

I lay down on my bed in the lower deck for an hour playing a game to calm my nerves and relax on how annoyed I am but suddenly, a voice sent shivers to my spine.

“Hey! Open up! I texted you that I’d be late right? Why’d you lock the door?”

There was dead silence in the room, and the atmosphere went cold as I heard my friend’s voice.

“Hey open up! Jesus Christ don’t make me repeat myself!”

My heartbeat was racing fast and I was really terrified to speak in reply.

The last words that I ever heard before a dreadful, twisted bloody face sprung out from above before I fell unconscious was,

“I did a good job copying your friend did I?”
