At home we are always taking turns preparing lunch, today was my turn and I wanted to get out of the routine and prepare something different, where the protagonists are the whole yellow vetch, grains with a high protein content, tasty, nutritious and versatile.
Today I share with you my recipe to prepare yellow vetch croquettes.
Ingredients:
1. 250 gms of vetch.
2. ½ small onion.
3. 2 chili peppers
4. ¼ Small paprika.
5. Coriander.
6. Cumin, pepper and salt to taste
7. Frying oil.
Important: These ingredients can vary depending on the taste of each person.
Preparation:
1. Place the vetch a bowl with water and soak them preferably overnight.
2. Wash the vetch well and let them drain.
3. The vetch are processed. You can do this with a blender or a food processor.
4. Chop the dressings: paprika, onion, coriander, chili.
5. Add salt, cumin and pepper to taste.
6. Combine the vetch mixture with the seasonings and knead until there is a uniform dough.
7. Use 2 spoons to shape the croquettes.
8. In a bowl with previously hot oil, place the croquettes to fry.
9. Serve on a plate and to taste.
Today we accompany them with meat, tabouleh salad, Arab bread, breaded aubergines and spring rice, all homemade.
Today at home we enjoy an excellent lunch.
They are excellent for snacks, you can accompany them with paprika creams, cheese and others.
