Story about A king and His Jobholder

A king of a country was of a very strict nature. He had innumerable royal servants engaged in running his affairs. If any of his servants made any mistake while performing his duties, he would punish them severely.

A loyal servant of the king was engaged in carrying out his royal duties for about 10 years. Once this faithful servant of his made a mistake in carrying out his orders. The servant begged the king for his mistake.
