A fifth grade student of Vage, driving 250 km to drive mom and sister out of the shelling.
12-year-old Sogomon Lalayan, a boy from the kind of warriors, famous Lalayans from Artsakh, also took his mother and grandmother out of under falling shells and drove through the serpentine to Armenia at night.
In Artsakh, boys become men early, they have no choice.
Let the world come and they will not become warriors, like their fathers, uncles and grandfathers, but scientists, programmers, bakers or gardeners.
Artsakh will soon be in need of gardeners to re-make this torn but beautiful land blooming.
