China's new investment in Chittagong EPZ is 1.2 billion

China's new investment in Chittagong EPZ amounts to 1.2 billion US dollars. In this global situation of Corona, the Chinese owned company Messrs. Unicorn Leather Goods Factory Limited is going to set up an industry manufacturing leather and synthetic leather products in Chittagong Export Processing Area.

An agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Messrs. Unicorn Leather Goods Factory Limited at BEPZA Complex in Dhaka on Wednesday (June 3). BEPZA Member (Engineering) Mohammad Faruk Alam and Messrs. Unicorn Leather Goods Factory Ltd. Managing Director Ms. Kang Yanhung signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
