We go through a tough road day by day. We meet some kind-hearted individuals who inspires us. There are also those cranky ones to whom the world might have turned its back on them. Either way, we don't know exactly how they've lived.

Back to the day when I was a kid, I act according to how I feel. I say what I mean and I don't give a damn if it's right or wrong. When my emotions are heightened, I either become euphoric or scream my heart out because of anger or pain. I jump when I get excited, smile when I am glad and cry when I feel sad. Life taught me that my heart becomes heavy when I don't let my emotions out. My facial expressions tell me how I'd want to react.

Nowadays, we are dependent to other people's feelings. We get scared if we become insensitive. We are sensitive enough to think of how other would perceive if we say or do something.

Who is responsible for our emotions? The limbic system located in the temporal lobe, is responsible for such emotions like love, anger, fear, and doubt. This part of the brain can alter how we feel and even makes us emotionless if triggered. When we fall in love, that's dopamine right there, which is a neurotransmitter accountable for uplifting one's mood. Source: www.livestrong.com/article/77419...

How would we go about a day of being selfish to our own feelings? Own it and don't care about anything else? That's called freedom and actually, with a proper limit, that's gonna be fine. We are entitled to our emotions. Nobody else is ever responsible for that. If only we can do that. I bet if that happens, yes, that's going to create a mess, but somehow, it's going to be a moment wherein all of our regrets won't be put to waste.
