West Virginia is expected to be hit by a storm that might produce a large quantity of snow, according to forecasts.
From lunchtime Thursday until Friday morning, the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of the state.
According to the weather service, snow accumulations might range from 3 to 8 inches, depending on where you are. For some locations, it would be the first major snowfall of the season.
A few adjacent counties in Kentucky and Virginia were included in the warning region.
