(Reuters) - WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (Reuters) - On Thursday, the anniversary of the fatal attack on the US Capitol by Trump supporters trying to reverse his election defeat, President Joe Biden will accuse his predecessor Donald Trump of constituting an ongoing threat to democracy.
The windows that were damaged when rioters attacked the white-domed building on Jan.6,2021, have been fixed, politicians and employees who fled for their life have returned to work, and miles of protective fence have been removed.
However, Biden, his Democratic colleagues, and a few of the former president's Republican colleagues worry that the harm he caused before the riot - in a furious address in which he wrongly claimed that his loss was due to widespread fraud - might be irreversible.
