Huawei, the world’s largest maker of telecommunications equipment, has included BitTorrent (BTT); the TRON portfolio project, on their latest devices via AppGallery.

Four applications: BitTorrent, BitTorrent Pro, uTorrent and uTorrent Pro have been added to the Huawei ecosystem via Huawei Mobile Services. This allows over 3 billion Huawei users from 170 countries to access the largest and most popular decentralized network directly from their mobile devices. If you are a BitTorrent desktop user and have a Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, P40, P40 Pro or P40 Plus device, you can now enjoy the world's largest distributed blockchain network and file sharing services on your mobile phone.

With over 100 million active users and over 2 billion installations, BitTorrent is the world’s largest decentralized platform in the world. TRON, one of the most popular and successful blockchain projects in the world, added BitTorrent to its portfolio in 2018 and began the process of integrating BitTorrent into the TRON network, later issuing a BTT token that runs the entire BitTorrent X ecosystem.

Over 3 billion Huawei users from 170 countries now have access to TRON's BitTorrent, the world's largest distributed network service.

Huawei is the largest manufacturer of telecommunications equipment and surpassed Apple in 2018 and became the second largest manufacturer of smartphones. Huawei believes in embracing the future with new opportunities and setting benchmarks in the industry.

Inspired by this partnership, TRON and BitTorrent Asia, an independent team of the TRON community in Singapore, are leading the creation of a new protocol to connect Huawei applications to the TRON network via BTT and harness the potential of decentralized functions such as BTFS (BitTorrent File System).
