Many were hurt

Back in the late 2019, people were still jollying with christmas celebration and new year eve of 2020. Most people, well if you were like me and many others were anticipating the incoming of 2020, the year where you say 20 twice. Much like 1919 and 1818, because we get to say another one in about 101 years to say it again. When 2121 arrives, we would be all pretty much dead. So, 2020 was the year yeah, for all bad things in previous years turn good. Where we leave all the sadness behind, and start a new beautiful chapter of our lives.

2020 - The year of wonder and the best. The year of good things never end. The year of proseperity. Little did we know, that storm was brewing. And way more little did we know, that it was forthcoming. As one of my dearest friend said to me "We had this coming, we have been too destructive, and mothernature is claiming back what was rightful hers". Sounds too omnious to me, although I did agree on some level there. Our human nature, you see, was much more of a destruction instead of building, how is this so? We need to destroy before we build, not the other way around as stated in an article in regards to the creation of our universe. An explosion of a megastar, we called it big-bang. From there life began. I would not like to put the specifics here as it would take hundreds of pages and forever to read. But you see, just like how the universe operates, and so do we. We can deny that, but it is just the truth. Don't get me wrong, human are inherently good. Just like yin and yang. Both sides present its nature of good and bad, but could not live without the other. But in 2020, the dark was about to implode on us, unlike what we have ever seen, felt and ultimately experience. Pain is all it can be describe as.

In 2020, we were hurt, as one being, we were hurt. 2020 was the year where jobs, homes and even lives were lost. Global economy took a very wild roller coaster ride, after dipping in March to rise back up like it was nothing. In return, jobs were lost. Companies might be doing well, but many jobs were scarificed in order for that to happen. So what happens next? You lose your job, you lose your money. It is that simple and easy to lose your security, doesn't it. What goes next, your benefits, your home, investments, plans, family maybe and many more. We were hurt, badly. Global pandemic happened in the past, SARS, Ebola, Bird Flu, that were bad but not as bad as the Covid19. Why? Because we aren't prepare for the virus.

The events that we were focusing on the previous years?Elon Musk, Jack Ma, millenial issues, Trump and his border of mexico, serial killers, how to make more money, how to get in better shape, Kim Kardashian and you get the drift. I believe Bill Gates did speak of the impending world pandemic disaster and even he himself admitted that he did not expect its going to be this bad. You see, all we care about is where to travel to until today, where I should'nt be traveling to? We were hurt.

After a long year of hurts, a general election happened in America. Only to invite more pain into the equation, but it was needed to re-elect a better president. A president where lives matter more than policy. Where lives matter more than just stature. You heard me Maga. Lives are more important, listen to your elderly who were hurt by the pandemic and the ego of a president who wont admit he has lost the election. I'm not an American and yet i'm ashame. 2020! Was supposed to be a good year. But its not..we were hurt.

Alas, 2021 is here. 2020, in many cases, was a big dissapointment for many. But 2021 is still early to be called a good or a bad year. The residue, or the spill over of 2020 is pretty much still here. It felt like we never left 2020. The hurt was unbearable. But lets not lose hope, for year 2021 might be the year where we manage to leave the bad things behind.
